Safety and Technology in the New Mack Granite Trucks

Mack Command Steer
A brand-new feature for 2021 Mack Trucks, Command Steer provides assistance to drivers. It helps them stay in lanes during course changes and makes getting in and out of loading zones easier. This feature can cut driver effort by as much as 85 percent and reduce strain up to 30 percent.
Bendix® Wingman® Fusion™ 2.0
The Bendix Wingman Fusion system uses radar and cameras to detect potential hazards while driving. It consists of:
- Following Distance Alerts – When a stationary or slow-moving vehicle is detected, the driver will get three levels of notifications. The brakes will apply automatically if the driver doesn’t act in time.
- Lane Departure Warning – A windshield-mounted camera will monitor driving, and if the truck starts drifting, the driver will get a warning.
- AEB Speed Reduction – To help avoid a possible collision, this feature can drop the traveling speed by as much as 50 mph.
Infotainment System
In addition to keeping drivers safe, the Mack Trucks Granite series can also keep them entertained and informed. Our models come with a user-friendly infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen, along with Apple CarPlay™ and Bluetooth®.
